While at work, an electric arc generated from a nearby wire sent a bolt into the back of his head, through his body, before exiting through his back. Larissa and Juliana are $30,000 richer after winning the 2010 Sangya Open. It was not an easy match for the Brazilian duo against the #2 seeded team from China. They had to work HARD! Also, Misty May is INJURED and had to forfeit 2 matches.
After losing the crown last season, Sheilla Castro’s amazing performance resurrected Team Unilever’s dominance in the Superliga against the defending champs Sollys Osasco. It has been a roller coaster season for some teams and players yet the Superliga never failed and fails to bring us the one of the best volleyball club matches in the world. Sykora’s high school has set up a fund to help her with medical expenses. Also, we’d like to take this opportunity to share to the rest of the world the love and support Stacy’s friends and teammates have done for her.
Polish club team, KS Jastrzębski Węgiel, sent us a BIG and UNFORGETTABLE surprise and we almost passed out! No words could express how grateful & happy we were, we are and we’ll be for this. It feels great to feel the love all the way from Poland. Thank you BBs! <3
